I would like a single pane view, where I can see the rendered markdown. It should have an edit button, which would bring me to either the edit page, or a dual pane view.
I second that!ReText (Linux) and Haroopad (all platforms) have it. MP should have it too.

Evan, any plans for this? This will allow MarkdownPad to be used like any online Wiki, but on the desktop - whether Wikipedia, StackOverflow, or anything else.
+1 for this as well, with keybindings to switch to edit vs view mode.
